NWA has
a Roaming Deer!

Thank you to Cliff Blank, Penny Lim, Peggy Logan, Janet Kvammen,  and
Julia Schoennagel.

The Roaming Deer of New Westminster is a series of public murals inspired by the deer that freely roamed the place we call home.

The deer is considered to be a symbol of gentleness and softness. The murals are a daily reminder for us to take care of each other and our environment.

The goal is to paint a Roaming Deer in each neighbourhood of New Westminster. Walking tours will be encouraged for residents to explore and visit different neighbourhoods in hopes of having their own deer sighting.
