Welcome
New West Artists is an inclusive, non-profit society based in New Westminster, BC. NWA endeavours to inspire, encourage, and celebrate visual artists through connection, education, and promotion.
New West Artists was founded in 2011 by a small group of artists who had a vision to increase awareness and appreciation of art by connecting artists within our community.
NWA encourages new and experienced artists in developing their art via juried and non-juried exhibitions, and through workshops and coordinated events. As a well-recognized community resource, we continue to anticipate, create and extend opportunities to promote the arts and our members.
NWA welcomes visual artists of all levels, from hobby artists through seasoned veterans to full-time professional artists. You don’t have to be a resident of New Westminster to be a member of the group. Our membership is comprised of artists from many nearby towns and surrounding areas.

New West Artists present
FAVOURITES WEEK – April 27 – May 3
Monday to Saturday 10 to 9pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm.
Opening Reception and Art Market: Tuesday April 28th 6 to 9pm.
The Gallery will have around 20 different NWA members, displaying their artwork.
We have a free workshop going on most days, everybody (friends, family, supporters) are welcome to attend!
But you do need to register first – except Greg’s Drop in Collage Workshop.
Class size is limited to 12 people.
Workshops will be in The Queen’s Park Gallery, unless stated otherwise.
