In this workshop students will be introduced to finger painting with oil technique. After a brief introduction, everyone will start and complete a small size painting depicting koi and lillypads in impressionistic style to take home. The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours. Please bring a 14×14 inch or similar shallow cardboard box (such as a pizza box for 12″ pizza) to carry the completed painting home, and disposable gloves in your size (make sure that the fingers go to the end of the glove fingers to be able to precisely manipulate the paints). It’s a good idea to bring an apron or old T-shirt to wear on top of the clothes during the workshop.
The materials provided during the workshop are student grade oil paints and canvas.
– Additional 12″x12″ canvas for a second painting
– oil paints in the following colors:
dark blue (prussian or similar)*,

bright orange (cadmium orange, or cadmium yellow deep, or vermillion, or permanent orange)
